IN THIS LESSON YOU WILL LEARN: Have you ever heard the term, “if you do not know the knot tie a lot?”  Not a good practice.  In this lesson Shane Hurlbut, ASC takes you through the knots that helped start his career as a cinematographer.  Knowing the correct knot is essential in becoming an experienced filmmaker.  Shane uses these knots every day helping his team out.  The Bowline is the most used knot in the movie business.  It is used to tie off every overhead frame, lash carts on trucks and hold with incredible force Rock and Roll truss frames of all sizes.
